Conversation With Africa hosted an Educational Webinar examining the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) and its implications for African businesses.
The session brought together a panel of practitioners and development stakeholders to unpack the practical meaning of the agreement for entrepreneurs, SMEs, and private sector actors seeking to operate across borders. Discussions focused on trade readiness, market access, regulatory awareness, and the opportunities created by a single continental market.
Participants were guided through how businesses can position themselves to participate in cross-border commerce, the importance of compliance and standards, and the role of partnerships in scaling production for regional markets.
The webinar forms part of Conversation With Africa’s ongoing commitment to supporting Africa’s economic integration agenda through dialogue, capacity building, and private sector engagement.
