Conversation with Africa (CWA)’s collaboration with the AfCFTA Secretariat and the African Union is central to our mission of fostering a unified Africa through the continent’s economic integration agenda, represented by AfCFTA. Recognized as a key stakeholder and technical partner, CWA is positioned to support the Secretariat’s primary agenda, initiatives, and programs, advancing sustainable growth and development across Africa.


CWA serves as a technical partner to the AfCFTA Youth Symposium. From 2023 to date, CWA has been actively involved, having led a pivotal panel discussion at the 2022 AfCFTA Youth Symposium. Additionally, CWA organized a Women’s Consultative Forum in collaboration with the Tanzanian government. The forum’s report contributed valuable input to the AfCFTA protocol on women and youth, shaping policy recommendations that address the specific needs and opportunities for women and youth in the African Continental Free Trade Area.
