Botswana Ministry of Foreign Affairs

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Conversation with Africa (CWA) Partnership underscores our commitment to economic diplomacy and international cooperation. In 2022, the Ministry assigned CWA the task of developing and launching a strategic economic diplomacy campaign.

This initiative, named "Botswana's Economic Diplomacy Campaign," was promoted through the Business Crawl Show—a business and trade platform established by the CEO of Conversation with Africa, with a 13-year track record in media. The campaign ran for eight months, featuring weekly live broadcasts that highlighted key economic and diplomatic priorities for Botswana.

In 2023, CWA partnered with the Ministry to shape and launch foreign policy conversations. The ZO Forum, introduced on Africa Day, featured Dr. Monique Nsanzabaganwa, the AU Deputy Chairperson, as the guest of honor. This alliance strengthens Botswana’s role in African trade and diplomacy, positioning the nation as a key player in regional economic integration and development initiatives.
