Conversation with Africa (CWA) is a leading development catalyst think tank dedicated to promoting Africa's economic integration agenda and driving private sector development. Focused on accelerating the continent's transformation agenda, CWA aligns its initiatives with the African Union’s Agenda 2063, envisioning an integrated, prosperous, and peaceful Africa. CWA aligns its initiatives with the African Continental Free Trade Agreement (AfCFTA), recognizing that African citizens are the primary drivers of their future, positioning the continent as a dynamic force on the global stage.

Founder - CEO Neo Theodore Tlhaselo

Neo Theodore Tlhaselo, Founder & CEO of Conversation with Africa (CWA), is a Pan-African development activist and expert in international trade, economic diplomacy, and communication. She leads CWA's initiatives aligned with Agenda 2063 and AfCFTA, fostering partnerships across governments, diplomatic institutions, and the private sector to shape a prosperous, globally competitive Africa. #AfricaRising

Kiprono Kittony
Former Annual CWA Patron ( 2019- 2023)

Mr. Kittony was conferred the award of Elder of the Order of the Burning Spear (EBS) by President Uhuru Kenyatta in 2019 in recognition of the distinguished and outstanding services rendered to the Nation as a business leader. He was also awarded with the Silver Medal by the Government of Hungary for his efforts in enhancing international trade and investment.

H.E. Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde
Current Annual CWA Patron (2024)

H.E. Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde, Executive Governor of Oyo State, Nigeria, is an accomplished engineer and visionary leader. With a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Lagos, he has led in both public and private sectors, founding Makon Group. Known for his philanthropic efforts, Governor Makinde champions education, healthcare, and community development, bringing sustainable growth and job creation to Oyo State through impactful governance.
