The session explored how small, medium, and micro enterprises (SMMEs) can engage with opportunities presented by the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA). It brought together participants interested in expanding their businesses beyond domestic markets and navigating cross-border trade.

Navigating regulatory and compliance requirements across borders
Leveraging partnerships to scale production and distribution
Participants gained insights into positioning their businesses within Africa’s evolving single market, as well as the importance of collaboration, standards, and strategic planning in cross-border trade.
